Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse with greater than 3 + years of experience in POrthopaedic surgery? We need you to assist our Perioperative Services Manager in the leadership and clinical support of the theatre team.
\u00A0\u00A0Position Responsibilities:\u00A0The position is responsible for providing clinical\u00A0leadership to the ward/unit to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients.\u00A0With the assistance and direction of the Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.\u00A0You will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources.\u00A0Northpark Private Hospital has five modern, well equipped interactive operating suites, recent acquisition of brand new 5 Stryker Towers, a state of the art CSSD and a busy Emergency Department.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0Selection Criteria:- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Grade 2, Year 5 or above
- Sound clinical knowledge
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Working with Children check\u00A0
- Experience in the Acute setting/relevant to position advanced skills
- Degree in relevant specialty area
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation
- Ability to manage a dynamic and changing environment
- High degree of computer literacy including MS office and various data bases
