Job description
As Account Receivable supervisor, you will be a key driver responsible for cash application activities that ensure that HP cash is received and applied on time.
In the role of AR Cash Application, you will:
- Apply cash receipts to customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Conduct regular reconciliations of customer accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with the credit and collections to manage and resolve open payments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency
- Assist in developing and implementing digital solutions to increase automations.
- Work side by side with the leaders to foster a culture of innovation and agile thinking, process improve, implement, and achieve the objectives.
- Lead the organization
- Implement and trace metrics
To be successful in this role, you need to have some skills and experience:
- First level university degree with a focus in accounting, finance or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Working with leaders and quickly building their trust, so they see you as a partner and problem solver..
- Creative mindset.
- Digital and Power BI skills is a plus.
