About the RoleWe are a professional services firm providing accounting, finance, and advisory solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. We are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead our client servicing function by acting as a trusted advisor on accounting and financial matters.The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of SME clients, oversee the quality of accounting deliverables, and mentor a team of accounting professionals to ensure high service standards and operational excellence.Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as our client base primarily consists of SMEs across Malaysia.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for accounting-related matters.Review financial statements, management accounts, and accounting work prepared by the team to ensure accuracy and compliance.Plan resources effectively and allocate assignments across the team.Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to develop team members' technical competencies.Review work performed by clients' accounting personnel and provide recommendations for improvement where necessary.Monitor staff performance and support their professional development.Track work progress and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.Advise clients on accounting, financial reporting, and tax-related matters while maintaining strong client relationships.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.At least 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or client accounting services.Solid knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.Experience reviewing financial reports and analysing financial information.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CA are advantageous but not mandatory.About the RoleWe are a professional services firm providing accounting, finance, and advisory solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients.
