Detailed Responsibilities
Academic Excellence:Deliver intellectually stimulating lessons that challenge high-attaining students and foster a deep love for the chemical sciences.
Leadership (TLR Role):Drive departmental standards, oversee internal assessments, and mentor junior staff or ECTs within the faculty.
Enrichment:Lead high-level extracurricular clubs, such as theRoyal Society of Chemistry’s Chemistry Olympiador theCambridge Chemistry Challenge.
Practical Mastery:Ensure the highest standards of laboratory safety while delivering complex, undergraduate-level practical demonstrations.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:A first-class or 2:1 degree inChemistry(or a closely related field) andQualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience:A proven track record of delivering "Outstanding" results at A-Level. Previous experience in a leadership or coordination role is highly desirable.
