1st Shift Induction

Simon & Schuster is seeking a full case Induction Person for its distribution facility in Delran, NJ

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Throwing cartons on the induction line to meet the days requirements

• Responsible for accurate placement of labels on the cartons to correspond with the designated work number

• Moving pallets to the induction rollers using a reach truck
• Use of pallet jack
• Completing work assignments accurately and timely
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma preferred

• Able to lift 50 lbs. continuously including over head
• Able to stand on feet for entire shift
• Able to use RF scanner
• Able to use pallet jack
• Able to work independently

• Ensure the work area is clean at the end of the shift

• Flexible to picking replenishment regarding ASAP orders
• Able to follow all safety policies and procedures
• Able to effectively communicate when needed
• Overtime as needed (both voluntary and mandatory)

SCHEDULED WORK HOURS: Monday -Friday 5am – 1pm
