You’ll work closely with internal partners including Centers of Excellence, TSG, Legal, Global Compensation, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support Bain’s global M&A activity and Branded Service Lines (BSLs).WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAMAs Manager, Talent Mergers & Acquisitions, you will be an integral player supporting the HR operations behind Bain’s M&A activity. This includes managing our initial efforts related to fully integrated acquisitions and supporting the ongoing integration and talent management of Branded Service Lines (BSLs).This role exists to ensure seamless HR integration of acquired talent into Bain’s systems, processes, and culture, while maintaining compliance, operational rigor, and a strong employee experience.WHAT YOU’LL DOYou will:Support successful HR integration of global Integrated Business talent into Bain (BSL and fully integrated acquisitions) as part of post-merger integration processes, including talent and role assessment, career pathing, contracts, immigration, policy alignment, and other related areasProvide HRBP support for newly integrated organizations during the integration processSupport an effective handoff, including knowledge transfer to a permanent HRBPPartner with your supervisor to execute successful HR integration of BSLs approved for full integration into Bain & CompanyWork with your supervisor to develop and manage the HR workplanOwn the process of creating employment contracts and offers, and developing FAQsOwn employee data tracking for all acquired employeesOversee the creation, maintenance, and upkeep of the system of record, including tracking compensation plans and payoutsPartner with your supervisor to implement and track executive compensation plansSupport efforts to establish HR processes for global BSL talent as part of post-merger integration processes, including:FLSA analysisContract design and developmentPolicy guidance and oversight (anti-harassment, background checks, etc.)Liaise with internal teams (Centers of Excellence, TSG, Legal, etc.) regarding HR matters related to BSLsParticipate in cross-functional groups (including TSG and Global Compensation) to integrate acquired employee data into annual EEO reporting requirementsContribute to the development of HR Talent due diligence and integration playbooksDevelop processes for and facilitate the ongoing bi-annual collection of KPI dashboard data across acquisitionsLead and oversee supervisory responsibilities, including future management of a Senior Coordinator, Talent Mergers & AcquisitionsSupport additional projects as requiredABOUT YOUExperience5–8 years of progressive HR experienceExperience working in HR within a global environment or context (required)Experience working as a full-cycle HR Generalist or HR Business Partner (preferred)Experience working with HR processes and systemsExperience working with HR and talent processes in post-merger integrationsProfessional services experience (preferred)Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to logically structure problems using a hypothesis-driven approachHigh levels of discretion and ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive dataKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExpertise in benefits administrationPerformance managementImmigrationCompensationDeep understanding of Bain HR/Talent frameworks, including talent archetypes, career progression, job leveling, and performance managementEducationBachelor’s degree in HR, management, or another related fieldHybrid: This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week.
