# Flan job data

Flan indexes job records from company career pages and supported applicant
tracking systems. Search and list responses use the active state currently held
by the service.

## Freshness

- `last_verified_at`, when present, is the latest successful verification time.
- A role can close or change after its latest verification.
- Counts and search results can change as sources are checked again.
- Flan does not guarantee that a listing remains open when a visitor applies.

## Public record context

- `source.platform` identifies available source-platform context.
- `can_apply` indicates whether the record supports an application action.
- The public job contract does not expose an original apply URL on every record.
- Job and company URLs on Flan are canonical discovery pages, not copies of the
  source career page.

## Citation guidance

Use the canonical Flan job or company URL when citing a record. Include the
verification timestamp when freshness is material to the answer.
